General Manager Warren Rychel announced today that the team has traded its 3rd round pick in the 2014 OHL Priority Draft, its 5th round pick in 2013 and its 15th round pick in 2013 to the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for defenceman Jeff Braithwaite.

“This is a key addition for us in pursuit of a playoff spot with 25 games remaining,” said Rychel. “Jeff has a wealth of experience and can play in all situations. This move also solidifies us with a quality overage D-man for the 12-13 season.”

Braithwaite, the Peterborough Petes 2008 second-round pick, currently has 2 goals and 12 points in 31 games with Kingston this season and 11 goals for 63 points in 189 games in his OHL career.

Jeff will be in the Windsor lineup Sunday afternoon against the Sudbury Wolves.
