(Peterborough, ON) The line of Alexander Khokhlachev, Kerby Rychel and Alex Aleardi was unstoppable on Thursday night, as the Spitfires blasted the Petes 9-4 in front of 2,194 at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Khokhlachev scored three goals, for his second hat-trick of the season, while Rychel (1G, 5A) and Aleardi (5A) bagged career highs in points in a game, as the trio combined for 14 on the night.

Josh Ho-Sang (10), Remy Giftopoulos (20), Ben Johnson (15), Adam Bateman (5) and Brady Vail (16) also scored for Windsor (22-23-1-6), which moved back within three points of the idle Saginaw Spirit for eighth in the Western Conference.

Rychel's goal was his team-leading 30th of the season.

Brett Findlay, Nick Ritchie, Nick Czinder and Greg Betzold replied for Peterborough (17-29-3-4), which failed to gain ground on the Kingston Frontenacs in the chase for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

Jaroslav Pavelka made 30 saves in goal for his 20th win of the season.

The Spitfires went 4-for-6 on the power play.
