Spitfires Foundation Hosting “Breakfast with the Spits”

The Windsor Spitfires Foundation is set to host the first-ever “Breakfast with the Spits” on Saturday, September 29th, in support of the 2013 International Children’s Games (ICG) to be held here in Windsor.
The charitable event is proudly supported by the Canadian Historic Aircraft Association and will be held in the CH2A Hanger at the Windsor International Airport from 9:00 to 11:00am.
Attending guests and sponsors will enjoy: conversation over breakfast with members of the 2012-2013 Windsor Spitfires, Olympic-Paralympic athletes, local athletes and a keynote address from Dr. Anne Snowdon – Chair of the International Centre for Health Innovation at the Richard Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
Guests will also be invited to tour and take photos of the airport hangar and take part in a Windsor Airport Open House between 11am and 4pm.
Starting Friday, September 7th, individual tickets, reserved tables and sponsor packages will be available at the WFCU Centre Community Rink Reception Desk (519-974-7979) and Devonshire Mall Customer Care Kiosk (519-966-3100).

“Breakfast with the Spits” is registered nationally in recognition of Sports Day in Canada: a national celebration of sport from grassroots to high-performance levels in communities across the country.
Presented by ParticipACTION, True Sport and CBC Sports,Sports Day in Canada is a celebration of sport and all the good things it does for families, communities and our national pride!
Since its inception in 2006, the Windsor Spitfires Foundation has raised and donated more than $235,000 to local charities.
