Bob Boughner President Bob Boughner is entering his fourth season as President and Head Coach of the Windsor Spitfires. In the 2008-2009 season, Bob led the Spitfires to a record setting season which included a 115 point season and OHL regular season title, the team's second OHL Playoff Championship in team history and the pinnacle of success in junior hockey, Windsor's first ever MasterCard Memorial Cup title. At the end of last season, he was again rewarded for his efforts as he was named the Ontario Hockey League and Canadian Hockey League's Coach of the year for a second consecutive season. On the International Stage, Bob served as Head Coach of Team Canada's Men's Under-18 National squad and led them to a perfect 4-0 record and the Gold Medal at the 2009 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament in the Czech Republic. Prior to his stint behind the bench, Bob headed a new ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 after retiring from a professional hockey career in which he played for 10 seasons as a defenseman in the NHL. Bob appeared in 630 games, scoring 72 points and amassing 1382 penalty minutes during his career. He was also named an Assistant Captain with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Captain of the Calgary Flames upon joining these teams. Bob also served as the Executive Vice-President of the NHLPA Players' Association from 2003 - 2006. He also enjoyed a tremendous three-year career in junior hockey with the OHL's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, serving as captain of the team that won the 1991 OHL Championship. With an already impressive resume and accomplished career as a player and Head Coach, Bob will look to lead the Spitfires to a second consecutive OHL and Memorial Cup Championship. Bob currently lives in Tecumseh, Ontario with his wife Jennifer and children Brady, Molly, Emma and Lola. | Warren Rychel Vice President Warren Rychel is entering is his fourth season as Vice-President and General Manager with the Windsor Spitfires. In the 2008-2009 season, Warren's hockey acumen and ability to acquire talented players helped lead the Spitfires to a record setting season which included a 115 point season and OHL regular season title, the team's second OHL Playoff Championship in team history and the pinnacle of success in junior hockey, Windsor's first ever MasterCard Memorial Cup title. Warren's hockey expertise was in full display last season as he acquired key players by way of trades such as Dale Mitchell, Andrei Loktionov, Ben Shutron, Scott Timmins, Josh Unice and Lane MacDermid, players which were all major contributors to the Sptifires' championship performances. Warren was honoured by the Ontario Hockey League for his outstanding work as he was named the 2008-2009 OHL Executive of the Year. Before achieving all of his success, Warren was part of the ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 and brings a wealth of experience to this position. Warren worked as a Professional and Amateur Scout with the Phoenix Coyotes for five years and demonstrated an ability to identify talented players during his tenure. He also played thirteen years professionally including nine years in the NHL, scoring 77 points to go along with 1422 Penalty Minutes. Warren also won a Turner Cup Championship with the Indianapolis Ice of the IHL in the 1990 season and was also a member of the Colorado Avalanche team, which won the Stanley Cup in 1996. In his third year as General Manager, Warren's hard work and dedication were again highlighted, as Ryan Ellis (NSH), Jesse Blacker (TOR), Lane MacDermid (BOS), Scott Timmins (FLA) and Eric Wellwood (PHI) were all selected at this past year's NHL Draft along with Richard Panik (TB) who was signed by the team after being selected by Tampa Bay. These players, coupled with possible returning NHL picks Greg Nemisz (CAL), Adam Henrique (NJ), Harry Young (NJ), Mark Cundari (signed by STL) as well as future NHL picks Taylor Hall, Cam Fowler and Austin Watson will lead a supercharged Spitfires squad this year as built by Warren. Warren currently lives in Tecumseh, Ontario with his wife Denise and children Kerby, Maddux and Kendall. | Peter Dobrich Governor/Treasurer Peter Dobrich is in his fourth season as Governor and Co-Owner of the Windsor Spitfires. Peter was part of the ownership group which purchased the team in February of 2006 and has helped reshape the face of the Windsor Spitfires organization by leading the team in its business operations. Peter was also an instrumental part of Windsor's successful bid to obtain the 2009 OHL All-Star Classic and, most recently, a 2009 Subway Super Series game to be hosted at the WFCU Centre. He also serves as the President of Private Financial Group, a boutique financial advisory firm in Windsor, Ontario which currently advises 350 family businesses in Canada. Peter graduated from the University of Windsor Business School with an Honours Bachelor in Commerce in 1993 and currently lives in Lakeshore, Ontario with his wife Laura and three children, Aleksandar, Danijela and Stefan. | Steve Horne Director of Buisness Development Steve Horne is in his nineteenth season with the Windsor Spitfires, working in various business capacities with the team. Steve previously worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Oshawa Generals from 1989 - 1991 and was a member of the 1990 OHL/Memorial Cup Champion Generals team. He was also an instrumental part of Windsor's successful bid to obtain the 2009 OHL All-Star Classic and a 2009 Subway Super Series Game. Steve joined the Spitfires in 1991 as a Director of Marketing and has since been promoted to his current position as Director of Business Development. He has also served on Marketing Committees with the OHL and is currently a member of the OHL Business Development Committee, and was also the Co-Founder of the inaugural Focus 2000 Marketing Seminars. Steve graduated from Durham College with a Diploma in Sports Administration in 1990 and currently lives in Windsor, Ontario with his wife Sharon and three children, Stephanie, Samantha and Shaun.
| Andrea Eidukas-Mooney Office Manager Andrea Eidukas-Mooney is in her third season as the team's Office Manager. Andrea graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours in Business Administration. Before obtaining this position, she worked with the Spitfires for 5 years in various capacities with the team. Andrea currently lives in Lakeshore, Ontario. | Robert Gagnon Public Relations Coordinator Robert Gagnon is in his sixth season with the team and the first in his newly created position as the team's Public Relations Coordinator. Robert previously worked as the team's Game Day and Media Coordinator for five seasons. Prior to joining the Spitfires, Robert worked as an intern at the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame as an Assistant to the Athletic Director and at Laurentian University as part of their Sports Information Department in 2002. Robert gradutated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours, specializing in Sports Administration in 2003 and currently resides in Tecumseh, Ontario. | Meghan Czerieniec Office Assistant Meghan Czerwieniec is in her fourth year working with the Windsor Spitfires. She has worked in various capacities with the team starting out as an intern in 2006. Meghan graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) specializing in Leisure and Sport Management. She also obtained her Bachelor of Education in 2008, specializing in the Junior/Intermediate level. Meghan currently lives in Maidstone, Ontario.
| Stuart Galloway Operations Producer Stuart Galloway is in his second year with the Spitfires, acting as the Game
Operations Producer. Stu joined the team when they moved to the WFCU
Centre and was instrumental in the production of the grand opening on
December 11, 2008. Stu is also the proprietor of Galloway Show Productions
producers of trade and consumer shows since 1991. In 1987, he graduated
from the University of Windsor with a Degree in Business. He resides in
Lakeshore and has two girls, Sydney and Nicole.
| Chris McCall Corporat Season Ticket & Group Sales Executive Chris McCall is in his second stint and eighth season overall with the Windsor Spitfires. Chris previously worked with the Spitfires from 1999-2004, heading the media, public relations, and ticket sales departments. He now works exclusively in the Spitfires' Ticket Sales Department, selling season and group tickets at the WFCU Centre. Chris has 11 years of sales experience and also owns McCall Sports and Entertainment, an organization which sells tickets to sporting and special events. Chris currently resides in Windsor, Ontario. | Andrew Rowberry Sales Manager Andrew Rowberry is in his second season with the Windsor Spitfires as
Premium Seating Sales Manager and is responsible for the Sales and Service
of Platinum Club Seats and Luxury Suites. Previously he was in Sales and
Marketing Management in the automotive field serving OEM's and retailers in
the US and Canada. Andrew graduated from Northwood University in Michigan
with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours in Business Administration and
currently resides in South Windsor with his wife Pam and son Brock. | Lynne Rozario Premium Seating Coordinator Lynne is into her second season with the Windsor Spitfires, managing the accounts of Premium Seating members.
Before moving to Windsor for the position, Lynne had worked in the Ontario Hockey League for 4 years in game operations and special event coordination. She is an honours graduate of Lambton College's Sports & Recreation Facility Administration Program. Currently residing right here in Windsor. | |
