(Windsor) Goaltender Philipp Grubauer is the Windsor Spitfires Player of the Week as selected by the Spitfires coaching staff for the week ending Sunday, March 7th, 2010. In two starts last week, Grubauer led the CHL’s number three ranked team to a perfect 2-0 record, as he posted a 0.50 goals against average with one shutout and a .975 save percentage.

Windsor, Ontario, March 9, 2010 – The Windsor Spitfires are asking the Windsor and Essex County community for their assistance in raising some much needed funds at “Help Wes Laporte Night” – an evening devoted to fundraising for the Wes Laporte Trust Fund Group which will be hosted at the Spitfires last regular season home game against the Plymouth Whalers this Thursday at the WFCU Centre. Game time is set for 7:05 pm.
